Kelsey Hill led the William Smith defense that shutout Penn State Behrend 3-0 in its NCAA tournament first round match. The Herons limited the Lions to just two shots, one on goal, in the match. On Sunday, William Smith logged its 10th shutout of the season, as the Herons battled Cortland through two overtime periods to a 0-0 tie. The William Smith defense held the Red Dragons to just two shots on goal in 110 minutes.
