Hobart College sophomore guard Monty Nedd averaged a double-double to lead the Statesmen to victories over Ithaca and Utica this week. On Tuesday against Ithaca, he scored a career and game-high 27 points, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds, dished out a game-high eight assists and posted a game-high four steals. Nedd connected on 11-of-15 shots from the floor and 5-of-6 at the free throw line in the 20-point victory over the Bombers (86-66 W). Nedd closed out the 2025 portion of Hobart's schedule with his first collegiate double-double, scoring a team-high 20 points, while collecting a career and game-high 12 rebounds. He also handed out a game-high six assists and logged a game-high five steals. The Statesmen scored the final 11 points of the game to secure a 66-53 win over the Pioneers. For the week, Nedd shot 64.3% from the floor and 83.3% at the line while averaging 23.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 4.5 steals.
