At MIT's Winter Invite that featured several nationally ranked programs, RPI junior Jason Weller opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a school-record and current league-best time of 1:48.99. He was also fourth in the 100-yard backstroke at 49.89 (2nd Liberty League), and he was sixth in the 100 freestyle, 46.06, which currently leads the league. He also took part in all five relays, which all placed among the top 12, incluidng a sixth-place showing in the 200-yard freestyle (1:24.62).
