Skidmore College senior Brendan Lu had six wins and two second-place finishes over the weekend leading the Thoroughbreds to dual meet wins over New Paltz and Trinity (Conn.). On Friday in Skidmore’s win over New Paltz, Lu placed first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:40.64) and the 100-yard freestyle (49.47). He was also second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:01.67) and the 100-yard backstroke (59.30). On Saturday, Lu was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:39.56), the 50-yard freestyle (21.88), 100-yard butterfly (52.87), and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:29.10).
