Ithaca College junior outside hitter Gabriela Gonzalez-Abreu delivered strong performances in both the Liberty League semifinal and championship matches, recording double-doubles in each. Against Skidmore, Gonzalez-Abreu hit .286 with 11 kills, 12 digs, and a service ace. In the title match, Gonzalez-Abreu powered Ithaca to its fourth straight Liberty League crown with 18 kills—seven coming in the decisive fifth set—along with 12 digs in a dramatic 3-2 victory over William Smith and was named the Liberty League Most Outstanding Performer of the tournament.
