St. Lawrence University first-year player Eboni Atherley's first collegiate match was a marathon that the newcomer won 3-2. Atherley went down 2-1 against Sofia Pinto Combita of Chatham at number two, but stormed back with 15-13 and 11-7 wins to help complete St. Lawrence's sweep.
