The Hobart College doubles team consisting of seniors Nick Fischer and Jacob Linares had a strong showing at the 2025 ITA Cup, advancing to the semifinal match, before falling in a tiebreaker to a team from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The Statesmen duo is now 7-1 on the season after going 2-1 at the championships. Fischer and Linares opened up action against Charles Rush and Artem Manov from Whitman College and won the opening round 7-5, 6-4. It was the first time a doubles team has won its first round match at the ITA Cup in program history. The duo then went on to upset top-seeded Gage Gohl and Tyler Haddorff of Gustavus Adolphus 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinal round. Fischer and Linares then fell in a hard-fought tiebreaker to third-ranked Henry Wilson and Sibi Raja from CMS 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, 16-18.
