William Smith College first-year midfielder Sofia Carney recorded an assist in the Herons' 3-1 victory over then No. 17 Vassar on Saturday. The Marshfield, Massachusetts native, made her second career start in the William Smith victory. Carney sent a centering pass to Julia Bragg for the third goal of the game. Carney has played in all 13 games this season and tallied three assists on the year.
