Union College first-year swimmer Julia Garber set a pool record at Alumni Gym Pool in the 100-yard individual medley with a lifetime-best of 1:04.95. Garber helped lead the Garnet Chargers to a 2-1 showing at their tri-meet against Clarkson (W, 182-85), St. Lawrence (W, 162-80), and Smith (L, 180-95) on Saturday afternoon. Individually Garber earned 13 points for the Garnet Chargers with a win, a second-place finish, and a third-place finish across four events. She placed second in the 100 fly (1:02.85), swam the third leg of Union's third-place 200 freestyle relay (1:49.68) along with Sarah Ramirez, Jess Konsky, and Alison Silver, and swam the breaststroke leg of Union's fifth-place 200 medley relay (2:01.48) along with Amelia Dino (back), Chloe Matthews (fly), and Mya Schattin (free).
