Vassar College junior outside hitter Maura McAusland helped Vassar to a 2-1 week with wins over Mount Saint Mary and Russell Sage while falling to Williams on the road. McAusland recorded 52 kills, a.387 hitting percentage, four aces, 29 digs and a block over the three matches this week. In the matchup against the Ephs, McAusland finished with 16 kills (.394), an ace and 10 digs followed by 14 kills (.343), an ace and 11 digs in the sweep of the Knights. She closed the week with a career-high tying 22 kills (.419), two aces, eight digs and a block in a four-set win over Russell Sage. McAusland ranks second in the league in hitting percentage at .390 and is also second in both kills per set at 4.50 and points per set at 5.03.
