University of Rochester sophomore Alvin Su was named to the six-player All-Tournament Team at the UAA Match Play Championship last week, posting a 2-1 record overall during the round-robin competition. Su earned a 2&1 victory over All-American Brian Hanson of #3 Emory in a 4-2 Rochester loss in round one. Later in the event, Su crushed Shray Patel 5&4 in the Yellowjackets' 4-2 victory over NYU. In his final round, Su fell 3&2 to #9 Carnegie Mellon’s David Zhang, another previous All-American. Rochester finished tied for second in the four-team event, posting a 1-1-1 team record.
