St. Lawrence University senior Molly Jespersen started the season on the right foot, winning the A flight at the Union Invitational. The senior took wins over Ithaca's Alys Pop and Union's Skylar Semon to advance to the final, where she defeated Samantha Ostrander of New Paltz, 6-3, 7-5, for the flight championship.
