University of Rochester senior Jordan Johnson won three events and finished third in a fourth event to claim Liberty League Field Performer of the Meet honors at last weekend's Liberty League Championship. The wins came in the discus, hammer throw and javelin, while he added a runner-up finish in the shot put. In the hammer, Johnson broke his own school record, setting a toss of 61.16 meters, the fifth-best throw in Division III this season. During the javelin, Johnson established another school record, setting a mark of 62.09 meters, the 17th-best distance in Division III. The UR senior also won the discus with a throw of 46.46 meters and ranked third in the shot put at 13.54 meters. His efforts helped Rochester claim second as a team in the championship standings.
