University of Rochester senior Megan Bell was a triple-winner for the Yellowjackets at the Liberty League Championship and earned co-Track Performer of the Meet honors as the team claimed the league title last weekend at RIT. Bell won the 400 meters, 800 meters and anchored UR’s 4x400 meter relay, all establishing new RIT Track & Field Complex facility records. In the 400 meters, Bell won in 55.08 seconds, securing a win by over two seconds. During the 800 meters, Bell won by nearly three seconds, finishing in a time of 2:13.84 in the final. The 4x400-meter relay crossed the finish line in 3:53.68, a nearly eight-second win, helping the Yellowjackets rally in the final few events to earn the team title.
