Vassar College sophomore Haley Schoenegge improved her Division III best 1,500-meter time by almost eight seconds at the Penn Relays on Thursday. Schoenegge raced to an 18th place finish out of 45 total finishers and was just one of two total Division III runners in a field full of Division I competitors. Schoenegge crossed the finish line with a time of 4:19.74 which was just three-tenths of a second off of her career-best time.
