The Ithaca Varsity 8+ finished fourth at the New York State Championships in the Women's Varsity Eight Final. DI Colgate claimed gold in 7:01.4, and was followed by Syracuse at 7:04.7 as well as Bates in third at 7:07.750, Ithaca produced a time of 7:08.264. The Ithaca boat on Saturday consisted of Caroline Hoskins, Lily Babcock, Emma Hammel, Maggie Farber, Zoe Paradis Stern, Kai Lincke, Ashley Bailey, Samantha Gallagher and Beth Roberts had a great preview of out-of-state rival Bates who nipped them at the line (7:07.8) and will meet again at NIRCs.
