RPI first-year athlete Erin vonHousen had a strong weekend for the Engineers. At the MIT Sean Collier Invitational on Friday, vonHousen placed fifth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:32.47, which currently ranks 24th on the Division III performance list. On Saturday at Trinity College, she won the steeplechase with a time of 10:51.42, which currently leads the Liberty League and ranks 13th in the NCAA.
