The Skidmore Men’s Varsity Eight+ won gold in the Knecht Cup for the first time in program history. The Thoroughbreds opened with a time of 6:37.80 to win their qualifying heat on Saturday. In Sunday’s final, Skidmore battled with Trinity (Conn.) before finally pulling ahead right at the end to win by just under half a second at 06:14.33.
