University of Rochester senior Megan Bell showcased her ability to run several different events this weekend, competing at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Bell started the weekend with a school record and second-ranked NCAA Division III time in the 1,500 meters, running a 4:27.12 in her first career race at that distance, ranking sixth among 83 runners in the invitational event at the Division I meet. On Sunday, Bell ran twice, compeing in the 4x400-meter relay and the 200 meters. In the relay, UR’s team placed first of 22 teams, ran a time of 3:48.21 and now ranks sixth on the Division performance list. Bell’s 200-meter time was a new personal best of 25.12 seconds, ranking 19th of 102 runners. All three times were AARTFC qualifiers.
