RIT first-year player Yu Tanimoto recorded a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles to help the Tigers to a pair of Liberty League wins. Against St. Lawrence, Tanimoto beat Edvin Strandberg 6-4, 6-1 at first singles while he and Alexander Sinclair defeated Sebastian Boada and Willem Naughton 7-5 doubles as the Tigers won 4-3 Saturday. He and Sinclair then beat Skidmore's Harrison Gradin and Kyle Lundberg 6-3 while Tanimoto clinched the match with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 win over Yuval Goodman to lead RIT to a 4-3 win over the Thoroughbreds, Sunday.
