Union College first-year player Vivaan Gupta went 5-1 in four matches for the Garnet Chargers on spring break last week, winning both singles matches and three of his four doubles matches. Gupta started his week with a shortened 2-6, 4-3 (ret.) win at third singles against Freed-Hardeman, then dominated his opponent from Lawrence in a 6-0, 6-0 second-singles win. He was a double-winner versus Lawrence after a 6-3 first-doubles triumph, and also earned 6-1 third-doubles victories over tandems from #34 Hamilton and Oberlin.
