Union College senior Sam Ahern took second place in the 100-meter dash and first in the 200-meter dash to lead the Garnet Chargers at the William & Mary Dan Stimson Invitational. Ahern ran the best 100 of his career on Saturday with a finish of 10.80 seconds, one-tenth of a second off the program record. He also ran the 200 in 21.70 seconds, seven-hundredths off of his own program record. He qualified for both the Liberty League and AARTFC Championships in both events to start the year.
