Skidmore College first-year catcher/outfielder EJ Stefanelli burst onto the scene for the Thoroughbreds last week in Florida. The rookie hit .393 (11-for-28) over seven games with a tripe, two doubles, and 10 RBI. He also scored seven runs and reached base at a .514 clip. In Saturday’s first game against Alfred State, Stefanelli went 3-for-4 with three RBI including his walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning.
