University of Rochester senior Jordan Johnson finished off the regular season with a runner-up finish in the weight throw at the AARTFC Championship over the weekend, setting another school record in the event. Johnson tossed a personal best and Rochester record 18.91 meters to finish second of 21 athletes. That mark moved Johnson to 13th on the Division III performance list and qualified him for his first NCAA Division III Championships. Johnson also competed at the regional meet in the shot put, finishing 14th of 23 competitors with a toss of 14.33 meters, and his performance overall helped Rochester finish fourth among 38 teams that scored a point.
