University of Rochester senior Jordan Johnson was a double-winner (shot put, weight throw) for Rochester in the throwing events during the Liberty League Indoor Track & Field Championships and was named Men’s Field Performer of the Meet over the weekend. On Friday in the shot put, Johnson’s winning throw of 15.23 meters came on his first attempt and also set a new Rochester school record. In the weight throw on Saturday, he had the top five throws of the competition, winning with a new Rochester record mark of 18.70 meters, which now ranks #13 on the Division III performance list this year.
