Defending national champion Williams was third in 18:01.384. Kim Goral, Libby Hughes, Katie Paige, Sarah Gordon, Emily Andersen, Laura Cappio, Caroline DeWeirdt, Alyssa Trebilcock, and Jess Steketee powered the Herons to their first ever medal at the Charles.
