Vassar College junior guard Sierra McDermed closed the regular season in strong fashion, averaging 27.0, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per contest. McDermed shot 48.7-percent (19-for-39) from the floor and 81.3-percent (13-for-16) from the free-throw line. On Friday against William Smith, an 81-62 victory, McDermed poured in 32 points on 11-for-21 shooting, including three triples, and a 7-for-8 effort from the free-throw line. McDermed finished a double-double with 10 rebounds, while adding four assists, two blocks and a pair of steals. McDermed continued with 22 points and eight rebounds in a tight 78-74 overtime loss to Ithaca. McDermed finished the tilt with five assists for the Brewers.
