University of Rochester senior Deziree Garrick posted a season-best mark of 16.19 meters in the weight throw on Friday afternoon at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up, finishing third among 36 athletes in the event. The performance was an AARTFC qualifier for the senior and is the top distance in the event this season within the Liberty League, also ranking 33rd on the Division III performance list this season.
