University of Rochester senior Jordan Johnson finished first in the weight throw and added a sixth-place finish in the shot put at the D3 Elite Meet at Nazareth University over the weekend. Johnson’s winning mark was 18.50 meters, the second best in program history and would have ranked first in the Liberty League and top-20 in Division III if not for his own personal-best from earlier this season. During the shot put, Johnson tossed 14.15 meters, tying for a personal-best mark, ranking fourth in the Liberty League this season.
