Vassar College junior guard Sierra McDermed put together two strong games as the Brewers scored road wins at RIT and RPI. McDermed averaged 23.5 points per game and shot and even 50-percent (17-for-34) from the floor and tallied the 1,000th career point. McDermed added 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game and went 6-for-15 from three-point range. On Friday at RIT, McDermed scored 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers, while adding three assists and three steals. McDermed closed the weekend with 25 points, becoming the 16th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. McDermed finished the win versus RPI with six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal.
