Hobart College first-year guard Monty Nedd led the Statesmen in scoring, assists and steals in a 1-1 conference weekend. At Bard on Friday, he shared game-high honors with 16 points and three steals. He was 6-of-8 at the free throw line, including a pair of makes with 8.2 seconds remaining to give Hobart a 1-point lead. At Skidmore on Saturday, Nedd scored a team-high 17 points, dished out a team-high four assists and shared game-high honors with three steals. He made all eight of his free throws against the Thoroughbreds. For the week, Nedd shot a team-high .474 (9-19) from the floor and was 14-of-16 at the free throw line, accounting for nearly half of the team's makes (31) at the charity stripe. He has reached double digits in the scoring column five times this season, including each of the past four games.
