Vassar collected two wins this weekend over RPI and RIT to extend its winning streak to three games and improve its record to 9-5 overall and 5-2 in Liberty League play. Sophomore guard Shea Fitzgerald led the way, averaging 24.0 points per game, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 48.3-percent from the field, 37.5-percent from three and 93.3-percent from the free throw line. The sophomore scored a game-high 28 points along with seven rebounds and five assists in a 63-59 victory over RPI followed by 20 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 75-64 win over RIT. Fitzgerald now ranks tied for 22nd nationally with 22.3 points per game and sixth nationally in free throw percentage at 92.7-percent.
