University of Rochester senior Cole Goodman got his indoor season off to a tremendous start, winning both the long and triple jump competitions at the Nazareth Alumni Opener with record-breaking and top-five performances. Goodman broke his own school record and set the facility record in the triple jump with a 15.57-meter leap, establishing the No. 1 mark in NCAA Division III, the sixth-longest triple jump of all-time in Division III and notching an All-Atlantic Region qualifier in the process. In the long jump, Goodman finished atop the podium with a 7.25-meter jump, another AARTFC qualifier and currently the fourth-best long jump in DIII on the NCAA Indoor Qualifying List.
