Vassar College sophomore Haley Schoenegge shattered her own school record in the 3000-meters as she finished 80th overall and was the top Division III finisher out of a strong Division I field at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University. Schoenegge crossed the finish line with a time of 9:38.73 to break her own record by 15 seconds. Her time ranked as the top time in Division III on the opening weekend by more than 20 seconds.
