Vassar College senior guard Tova Gelb put together a big weekend as the Brewers went 1-1 to open Liberty League play. Gelb averaged 20.5 points on 50-percent (15-for-30) shooting overall and 46.2-percent (6-for-13) shooting from three-point range. Gelb added 8.5 rebounds per contest to go along with 3.0 assists and a 1.5 steals. 
 
Gelb opened the weekend with 24 points on 8-for-19 shooting, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal on Friday at Ithaca and wrapped up the weekend with 17 points, going 7-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-4 from behind the arc at William Smith on Saturday. Gelb posted a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds against the Herons and totaled three assists and a pair of steals.
