Catherine Fortin played a big role in a two-win day for the Fords Saturday, as Haverford collected a pair of victories against No. 26 Connecticut College and No. 30 Vassar. Against the Camels in the second flight, she prevailed over Isabel Schumacher in a five-game thriller, 13-11, 11-13, 11-4, 7-11, 11-9 , to help power a 5-4 upset victory over Conn. College. In her second match of the day against the Brewers, Fortin swept Charlotte Tobin in flight number two, 11-7, 11-3, 11-6, to help the Fords collect a 9-0 sweep over Vassar.
