Ithaca College senior libero Ellie Benedict played a major role in helping the Bombers advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year, finishing with a 24-7 overall record. Benedict led the defensive efforts in each tournament matchup posting nine digs against Lasell, 16 against Smith and 19 digs against No. 3 Johns Hopkins. During the regional pod, Benedict also served up a pair of service aces.
