Vassar College sophomore Haley Schoenegge finished second at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday. Schoenegge was the runner-up out of 290 runners, crossing the finish line with a time of 20:58.2. She helped Vassar to its best team finish at the championship in program history (20th). The Brewers were 20th out of 32 teams at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. With the second-place finish, Schoenegge garnered the first USTFCCCA All-America Cross Country honors of her career.
