First-year swimmer George Weir led Hobart to a 151-81 win over St. Lawrence on Saturday to help the Statesmen move to a 2-3 overall record. Weir had an strong weekend as he won three times against the Saints. Individually, he won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:04.36 and took second in the 50-yard freestyle after touching the wall at 23:47. Weir then joined his teammates to win two relay races against St. Lawrence. Weir and his teammates finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:48.37) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:33.85).
