First-year Kaleigh Boynton helped the William Smith swimming & diving team to a 157-137 win over St. Lawrence on Saturday to move to 4-1 on the season. Boynton led the Herons with two first-place finishes and two second-place finishes. Individually, Boynton won twice against the Saints. She won the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 33.51 and the 100-yard breaststroke after touching the wall at 1:12.55. Boynton then joined her teammates to finish second in two relay events. She finished second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:57.79) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:04.83). Boynton will look to continue to lead a young Heron squad through the remainder of the season.
