University of Rochester first-year quarterback Creighton Wise turned in a solid effort for the Yellowjackets during a 34-13 loss at Union on Saturday afternoon. The rookie quarterback tossed for 140 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He also added 19 rushing attempts for 92 yards on the ground. Overall, Wise completed 9-of-20 passes, had a long completion of 29 yards and a long rush of 14 yards during the loss. He mixed in with Rochester’s starting quarterback during the first half before fully taking the reins at quarterback during the second half of the game.
