Hobart College first-year wide receiver Johnny Harding caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in Hobart's 27-21 win at RPI. He scored the game's opening touchdown on a 16-did not relinquish. Through nine games, he has a team-high 36 receptions, the most by a Statesman since Jake Catalioto '20 had 46 through nine games in 2019.

The Statesmen's win, coupled with Buffalo State's victory over Rochester, clinched at least a share of the Liberty League Championship and they are guaranteed automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The victory was the first for the Statesmen in Troy since 2014. Hobart has won seven in a row, its longest winning streak in a season since winning 12 in a row to start the 2014 season.
