Union College first year swimmer Nick Megas put together a strong performance on Saturday against New Paltz. Megas earned his first win of the day in the 200-yard freestyle, winning by just over one second with a time of 1:50.03 for the team's best time of the young season. The first-year added a second victory in the 50-yard freestyle, out-touching New Paltz's Jack Samko by 0.35 seconds to win with a time of 22.23. Megas also earned a second-place finish behind teammate Drew Hill in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in with a time of 49.84.
