Ithaca College sophomore Samantha Bender helped the Bombers to a pair of dual-meet wins over WPI (164-134) and Roger Williams University (166-128) on Sunday. Simpson got her day started by swimming the final leg in Ithaca's 200-yard freestyle relay-winning team as they finished with a time of 1:41.15. Bender would then go on to win the 100-yard backstroke over WPI’s Sarah Kang with a finals time of 1:00.43. She scored a second-place finish with a time of 2:10.78 in the 200-yard event finishing just .6 behind first-place.
