Union College sophomore attack Maddie Greco had another big week as the Garnet Chargers clinched a first-place tie in the Liberty League standings and extended its winning streak to seven games. Greco scored three goals and handed out one assist for seven points in wins over St. Lawrence and Skidmore. The sophomore sensation netted the game-winning goal and added an assist later in Friday's 3-0 shutout of the Saints to clinch a top-two spot in the league tournament, and then scored twice in less than five minutes in the third quarter to turn a 1-0 lead into a 3-0 advantage in the team's 4-1 win over Skidmore on Sunday. It was the Garnet Chargers' first victory over the Thoroughbreds in Saratoga Springs since 1996.
