First-year setter Delainy Williams led William Smith to a 2-0 Liberty League weekend with sweeps of Vassar and Bard. Through six sets, Williams averaged 12.50 assists per set, 0.67 digs per set, 0.50 aces per set and 0.67 points per set. In a sweep of Vassar, she tallied 37 assists, two digs, two service aces and one block. Williams followed that up with a 38 assist, two digs, one service ace and one block performance against Bard on Saturday. She leads the Liberty League in assists per set (10.88), which ranked seventh in the nation heading into the weekend.
