RIT junior Derick Koen won Houghton's Highlander Invitational on Saturday for the second straight year. He crossed the finish line with a time of 25:25.6 ahead of 139 runners while also leading the Tigers to their second-consecutive team championship at the event. They finished first among ten teams.
