University of Rochester senior Gary Pan paced the Yellowjackets during Rochester’s runner-up team performance among 20 teams at the Northeast Elite Invitational over the weekend. Pan finished in a tie for sixth place overall among 104 golfers, shooting rounds of 68 and 72 to finish with a 2-under par total of 140. Pan led Rochester with seven birdies in the two-day event and was a total of 5-under on the par-5s, seventh best in the field. Pan’s opening round of 68 was a career-best. The Yellowjackets as a team finished second with a team score of 573 (+5).
