William Smith College first-year setter Delainy Williams helped the Herons to a 3-0 weekend at the Stevens Institute of Technology tournament with wins over Montclair State (3-1), Wentworth (3-0) and Stevens (3-1). Williams averaged 11.09 assists per set through 11 sets and added 2.27 digs per set and 1.14 points per set. She also added five service aces, five blocks and five kills through three matches. Williams opened the weekend with her fourth double-double of the season, recording 37 assists and 13 digs against Montclair State. She followed that up with a 41-assist and six-dig performance against Wentworth before closing out the weekend with 44 assists, six digs, four blocks and three service aces against host Stevens. Williams currently leads the Liberty League in assists per set (10.76) and is eighth in the league in service aces per set (0.52).
