RPI's Erin vonHousen finished fourth overall and was third among the Engineers in her first collegiate race at the Purple Valley Classic. She posted a time of 25:58.8 (6:58.1 per mile) in the 6-kilometer race and was the top rookie finisher among 66 runners.
